Blessings Received
I woke up this morning still tired and saying, “Thank you, thank you, thank you…”
I have a bed, a home, and safety.
Outside the window was overcast and chilly, the fog still lingering about, “Thank you, thank you, thank you…”
I live very close to nature, the salt air rejuvenates me, and I have been blessed with stewardship.
There are farm chores before breakfast, and before my “real job” starts and they multiply and always take longer than expected, “Thank you, thank you, thank you…”
I have a purpose, I have created a sanctuary, and I have learned responsibility and can handle what I am given.
As I walk back towards the house I see Randy the Sheep has let himself in, the door left open and a chicken or two may have followed suit, “Thank you, thank you, thank you…”
Love has led all these animals to me, and they give just as much back to me every day, I do not go a day without joy.
I work hard all day and there is always more left to do, and a list of things to do that will never be completed before it is added to, “Thank you, thank you, thank you…”
I have a calling, I have answered it, I do my best every day, I do not give up, and I am fulfilled.
EVERY DAY there are moments that we like to complain about, to commiserate about, what if we reached out to the thoughts and the blessings we have received that allows us to be in the moment that that is hard, difficult, or uncomfortable? To remember the gifts are we not seeing? We are all living in this reality right now, with different scenarios in our lives. Yes, it is crazy, scary and something we never expected. This does not negate any blessing, gift, or love that we have received. We still have it, We still have the ability to feel and be in that mind space when we were graced with blessings, and make the conscious choice to live in that moment.
When we choose to live in this mindset, the blessings keep on giving and we also pass them on.
